Divorce Attorneys, Family Law Attorney Directory
The sources within the divorce attorney and family law directory offer a wide selection of legal services
relating to
common family issues -- dissolution of marriage, adoption of child, last wills and testaments, revocable and
irrevocable trusts, and estate planning services. Selecting an appropriate attorney for your needs includes
comparing abilities and fees to the complexity of work required.
License requirement for divorce attorneys
All attorneys must be properly licensed by a state bar association. In general, the bar requires completion of a course of
study in general law, through accredited law schools, plus a favorable background review. Written bar examinations
are
administered to applicants who are deemed qualified in the sole opinion of bar examiners. To sustain a
professional license, each attorney must adhere to state Rules of Professional Responsibility.
Also, annual classes through sanctioned continuing legal education seminars are required. Participation is
reported to the bar. Membership in city and county bar associations is voluntary. We make no representation regarding any attorney, their qualifications to practice law, or services which may
be offered to clients. The information within this site is general, must not be considered legal advice.
