Child Support Laws - Divorce Help
The evolution of divorce laws over the last 40 years dramatically increased. DNA testing all but eliminated frivolous paternity suits. Lifestyles, values
and attitudes have changed. Gender roles and rights are all subject to review. Parental liability and criminal
responsibility for acts committed by children are increasing. Even the legal definition of
marriage itself is in a state of flux, and may result in a new Constitutional Amendment.
The camps are equally divided. Conservatives blame deteriorating family values as the primary cause for
rising rates for broken marriages, crime, unemployment, even frivolous lawsuits and ever expanding array of
ailments which stunt economic growth. They advocate stringent government control and faith-based initiatives to
create more productive citizens.
Liberals complain national examples are set by our nations leaders, not our children. They hope deteriorating
political, special interest, and corporate values will subside before destroying opportunities for the American family
to flourish.
