Divorce Questions - Child Support Enforcement Agency
The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services maintains a child support enforcement agency operating under
the name of the Office of Child Support Enforcement. This federal agency accepts inquires regarding child
support and divorce questions, and provides information about the state child support enforcement systems. The
federal government also contributes electronic resources which are available to states. these resources provide
access to national databases maintained by state and federal agencies which are used to track parents and
collect past due amounts. Child support and divorce questions are also accepted by state offices of the Attorney
General.
